Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the convenience and usefulness of the Shopee Paylater feature on the consumer behavior of the millennial generation. The sample in this study used a purposive sampling method with the criteria of the millennial generation using the Shopee Paylater feature aged < 20 years to 25 years. This data collection technique uses a questionnaire distributed through Google Forms with a total of 120 respondents.The results of this study are: (1) Ease of effect and no significance on the consumptive behavior of the millennial generation with a t-value of 0.580 and a significance value of 0.563 <0.05: (2) Benefit has a positive and significant effect on the consumptive behavior of the millennial generation with a t-value of 4.760 and a significance 0.000 < 0.05: (3) the Adjusted R Square value obtained is 0.328, which means that 32.8% of the millennial generation's consumptive behavior is influenced by the convenience and usefulness of the Shopee Paylater feature and the rest is influenced by other variables not explained in this study.
