Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence capital structure. The selected population are service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2018-2020. This study uses profitability, liquidity, asset struktur, sales growth and company size as independent variables. While capital structure is used as the dependent variable. The data used in this study secondary data in the form of an annual manufacturing company report obtained through www.idx.co.id. The sample of this study consisted of 57 service companies in 2018-2020 after selecting the sample with a purposive sampling method. This study uses multiple regression analysis. The data analysis method used is SPSS 25. The results showed that the variable profitability, liquidity, asset struktur, and company size has a negative effect on capital structure. But the sales growth variable does not affect capital structure. Profitability, liquidity, asset struktur and company size together influence capital structure
