Abstract

This study aims to examine financial literacy, lifestyle, and financial attitudes towards financial behavior with locus of control as a moderator. Respondents in this study were NTT students who continued their higher education studies in Yogyakarta. The data source in this study is primary data, and the type of data is quantitative. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with data collection methods in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire). The data analysis technique used uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (PLS with two sub models, namely the measurement model / Outer Model (Validity Test, Reliability Test), and the structural model / Inner Model (R Square, Effect Size F Square), Path Coefficients, Hypothesis Testing Model. The results showed that financial literacy and financial attitudes have a positive effect on financial behavior, lifestyle has no effect on financial behavior, while locus of control can moderate financial literacy and financial attitudes towards financial behavior.
