Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the role of technological comprehension in moderating the influence of investment knowledge, risk perception, investment motivation and minimum investment capital on investment interest in the capital market in East Nusa Tenggara students. The research design used in this study is quantitative research. Primary data was used in this research. Data was collected using a questionnaire distributed via google form. The research was conducted at universities in East Nusa Tenggara with the research population being students from the Faculty of Economics and Business with Accounting, Development Economics and Management Study Programs. The number of samples in this study were 161 students with sampling techniques using purposive sampling. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Smart PLS 3.0 application. The results showed that investment knowledge, investment motivation and minimum investment capital have a positive effect on student investment interest in the capital market, while risk perception has no influence on student investment interest in the capital market. In addition, technological comprehension is able to strengthen the influence of investment knowledge on investment interest, but technological comprehension is not able to strengthen risk perception, investment motivation and minimum investment capital on student investment interest in the capital market.
