Abstract
This study was conducted to examine the effect of company age, public ownership and profitability on the timeliness of financial reporting. The population in this study was taken from trading companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2017-2019 period. The total sample used is 50 companies, studied over a three-year period so that the total sample used in this study is 150 samples. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique and the analysis used is logistic regression analysis. The results showed that profitability had a positive effect on the timeliness of financial reporting, while the age of the company and public ownership had no effect on the timeliness of financial reporting.
