Abstract
Return is a reward for investor bravery in taking risks on the investment it does. Return can motivate and attract investors to invest. The rate of return earned by investors is influenced by microeconomic factors and macroeconomic factors. In this research, factors that influence storck return use macroeconomic factors and microeconomic factors, ie, inflation, interest rate, exchange rate, profitability and firm size. This study aims obtain emirical evidence on the influence of inflation, interest rate, exchange rate, profitability and firm size on stock returns. This research was conducted on service companies in Indonesia Stock Exchage. The population used is all service companies listed on the IDX period 2016-2019. Sample determination method used is use purposive sampling. Data analysis used is multiple linear regression test. Based on the result of this study found that the inflation has negative and insignificant effect on stock return, interest rate has negative and significant effect on stock return, exchange rate has negative and insignificant effect on stock return, probability has negative and insignificant effect on stock return, while firm size has positive and significant effect on stock return. Inflation, interest rate, exchange rate, profitability and firm size together influence stock return.
