Abstract
This study discusses employee turnover intention, in the Mining Industry. This study seeks factors that cause turnover intention. Motivation theory is used to qualitatively analyze how turnover intention will develop. By using samples from interviews and questionnaires, the researcher found that many factors that cause turnover intention are based on two things, job satisfaction and job insecurity. Variables are influenced by moderation of motivation. By conducting a descriptive analysis, it was found that the duration of employee work period under 2 years has a high desire to leave. Then from the age factor, employees with a range of 20 to 30 years have a high tendency to leave. So when an employees who have high job satisfaction do not have a high desire to leave, while employees who feel high job insecurity are prone to leaving. If not handled, people who feel comfortable also feel like leaving because there are other employees who leave, so it is important to motivate employees to control turnover in the company. The company is important in maintaining employee mental stability and creating a comfortable environment in order to control turnover intention so that it is not high, especially in the mining industry in Indonesia.
