Abstract

This research was conducted to look at the flypaper effect phenomenon in economic growth in North Maluku Province. This research used a time series with a time period of 2017-2022. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of PAD and DAPER/Balancing Funds (DAU, DAK, and DBH) on Economic Growth in Regencies/Cities in North Maluku Province, as well as analyzing the Flypaper Effcet Phenomenon in North Maluku Province in the period 2017-2022. This research collection technique uses a purposive sampling technique, the samples used are 10 regencies/cities in North Maluku Province for the 2017-2022 period. The data from this research is secondary in nature, originating from the APBD realization report, and statistical data on the ADHK GRDP growth rate of North Maluku Province in 2017-2022. This research uses quantitative data analysis techniques which are processed with the statistical data processing program E-views v.12. The research results show that PAD has a positive effect on economic growth, and DAPER has not supported a positive effect on economic growth, and there is no Flypaper Effect Phenomenon in North Maluku Province in 2017-2022.
