Abstract
This research aims to analyze the effect of transaction effectiveness and security risks on interest in transactions using DANA fintech in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) with financial literacy as a mediating variable. The method used in the research is quantitative, the sampling technique uses purposive sampling, while the data collection technique uses snowball sampling technique. The sample used was 217 respondents who used the DANA application obtained using a questionnaire. The data analysis method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) on SmartPLS to test the influence between variables by testing descriptive analysis, outer model (validity test and reliability test), inner model (R Square, Effect Size F Square, and FIT), and hypothesis testing. The results showed that transaction effectiveness and security risk have an impact on transaction interest, while financial literacy has no effect on transaction interest and does not mediate the effect of transaction effectiveness and security risk on transaction interest using the DANA application in DIY
